Wychavon District Council’s musical performances for people living with dementia will return next week.
Guests will have the chance to enjoy music by the Orchestra of the Swan from 1.30pm to 2.45pm on Wednesday, 17 April, at the Number 8 Arts Centre in Pershore.
The members of Stratford’s classical orchestra will play their instruments and people are encouraged to join in by clapping and singing.
There will be a chance to find out about life as a professional musician or about favourite pieces of music, as well as share memories and thoughts about music.
The performance will be part of Wychavon District Council’s continuing series of music workshop which have been running since 2014.
They will continue to run until March 2020 with a variety of music genres represented including Latin American, contemporary, classical and folk.

"Workshops like this have a positive impact on people by reducing isolation, getting them involved and helping them to make new friends.”
The cost to attend each workshop is £2, and the price includes a hot drink and biscuits. Visit number8.org or call the Number 8 box office on 01386 555488 to book a place or any of the workshops.
