A MOTORIST caught drug driving on the M5 has been disqualified for 20 months.

Gerrwyn Jones, of Bryn Road, Blackwood, Gwent was stopped by police on the motorway between junction 5 and 6 on December 11 last year.

The 37-year-old pleaded guilty to drug driving when he appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on December 12.

Jones was fined £400, and told to pay a victim surcharge of £40, and costs of £135 - a total of £575, which is to be paid at a rate of £40 per month.
