MAYOR Cynthia Palmer is hosting a charity Christmas concert at Great Malvern Priory and is inviting all to come along and enjoy the music.

The concert is on tomorrow (Saturday) from 1.30pm until 3.30pm and will include performances by the Rock Choir and Malvern Hills District Brass Band.

A spokesman said: “This concert is a lovely way to start the Christmas period and to get a break away from all the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping and preparations for a couple of hours.

“The programme will include traditional carols, popular Christmas songs and music from the movies.

“There will also be a chance for some audience participation where you can sing along to some popular Christmas tunes.”

Tickets are £5 per person with all proceeds shared equally between the mayor’s charity for this year – Sight Concern – and Malvern Hills District Brass Band.

There is ramped disabled access into the Priory and disabled parking by prior arrangement.
