CHRISTMAS shoppers can enjoy a free mince pie thanks to an annual traditional from Evesham Churches.
For the past 10 years Evesham Churches have come together, usually on the first Saturday of December, to give away mince pies to the shoppers and shop workers within the town.
This year the volunteers will be outside the Sue Ryder Charity shop in Evesham High Street on Saturday December 8, giving away mince pies after 11am.
This year organisers are hoping to be joined by talented musicians and singers, who will be sure to entertain with some festive favourites.
Last year organisers estimate more than 1000 mince pies were given away, and it is hoped shoppers will tuck in to them again this year.
