THE Working Together charity in Ludlow is preparing for its Annual General Meeting.

Working Together, a charity supporting adults and young people with learning disabilities, appointed a new Manager for its Café on Fish Street in Ludlow earlier this year.

The charity has seen a number of changes this year following the retirement of its founder Richard Geuter in 2017.

He founded the charity 15 years ago.

The charity has become an important part of the life of Ludlow bringing together people from different parts of the community to work in collaboration.

An Annual General Meeting will be held at the Rockspring Centre in Ludlow on Tuesday, November 20 between 6pm and 8pm.

It will celebrate the past but also look to the future and new initiatives.

The whole idea of the charity is to put ‘working together’ between people with learning difficulties and other people from the town at the heart of the community.

Over a decade and a half this has helped to break down barriers and promote understanding of how much all people in the town can contribute to its life.

Working Together is open Monday – Saturday 10am – 2pm (closed Thursdays).
