A WOMAN who was reported to be in a canal in Netherton was declared dead by paramedics at the scene.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Northfield Road after a woman was seen in the water at around 8.30am today (October 19).
She was out of the water but in cardiac arrest when medics arrived but was unable to be revived.
The cause of the woman's death remains unexplained and West Midlands Police confirmed enquiries were ongoing.
