AN air ambulance was called after a driver smashed into a tree.
A man suffered chest and arm pain in the crash on the A46, near Evesham, at around 10.25am today [September 26].
He was taken by land ambulance to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Rachel Scudamore said: "Air ambulance landed by the football island on A46, avoid at all costs, traffic built up. A46 at a standstill."
CORRECTION: The ambulance service originally told us that the accident happened in Dumbleton. This was incorrect.
