EARLY-rising morris dancers converged on Ilmington Downs at sunrise as they put on their own personal show on May Day to welcome the dawn.
The Traditional Ilmington Morris Men performed some of their traditional dances as the sun rose over the horizon at 5.36am.
The side performs dances which have evolved in the village over the past 300 years. They practice in the village hall on Wednesday evenings in the summer and occasionally attend festivals and accept bookings.
