POLICE want help to catch thieves who wielded crowbars while robbing a shop in Chipping Campden on Sunday.

Two men, described as black, aged in their late 20s or early 30s and wearing face coverings, made off with “a quantity of money and cigarettes” from the One Stop shop on High Street, Chipping Campden, but “nobody was physically harmed” according to a police statement.

The men are described as being black, aged in their late 20s or early 30s, and were wearing face coverings.

It is the second time this year that the shop has been targeted.

Police were called out at 7.10am on January 30 following reports of an armed robbery.

On that occasion it was reported that two men wearing balaclavas and carrying knives entered the shop before threatening staff, demanding keys for the safe and taking a quantity of cash from inside.

Officers would like to hear from witness or anyone who has CCTV footage of this latest incident.
