Bourton-on-the-Water welcomed back 700 runners from across the country for the first time in two years, to its ever-popular road race – the Highbridge Jewellers Bourton 10k.
There was additional interest this year as England Athletics had selected the race to be one of its qualification events for the England Age Group Masters team.
The race was won by James Denne of Gloucester AC in a time of 31:14, with Ben Kruze of Stratford-upon-Avon AC (31:31) and Jamie Arnold of City of Stoke AC (31:37) in hot-pursuit.
The first lady to finish was Kelly Edwards of Leamington C&AC (35:35), with Emma Howsham of Reading AC (36:24) second.
