FOLLOWING our well attended meeting last week, Martin Hannant gave us a talk together with slides on radio comedy stars of the 50s and 60s. It was a very entertaining talk with Martin singing along to the tunes. He even got us all to join in the singing. It brought back lots of memories when radio was the entertainment before television arrived. The club would welcome new members, if you are interested in joining us come to our next meeting at the WI hall on March 14 at 2pm.
