At our July meeting, Paul Clark was the speaker. He gave an illustrated, informative and moving talk about the work of the charity EAPPI (The Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel).
The accompanists come from all around the world, they are brought to the West Bank to serve as human rights monitors. They provide a protective presence at schools for Palestinian children, a protective presence for farmers and shepherds, and they also monitor ‘check points’ between Palestine and Israel.
There will be no meeting in August. Our next meeting will be on Monday 10th September when our speaker is Kamaldeep Sindu talking about Kitchen Pharmacy.
The meeting commences at 7.30pm and takes place in St David’s Centre, Moreton in Marsh.
We would be very pleased to welcome new members.
