IT may have been wet and cold outside, but there was a warm welcome for the 15 members who braved the February weather to learn how to make pretty Origami gift boxes from card and paper this month. They went on to tackle folded envelopes, water bombs and, as it was Valentine's Day, some folded paper hearts to take home. Biscuits, coffee and chat followed before we headed back into the night.

You don't have to live in Defford to join us. We meet at 7.30pm on the second Wednesday in the month at Defford Village Hall. Come along and see what we get up to. Bring a friend, or come on your own and make some new ones. On March 14 our guest speaker will be Liz Scott, who will be telling us all about The Silver Line and how it can combat loneliness.
