Eckington WI's January meeting was spent with “10 minutes in the life of….”. This was another opportunity to hear stories from our own members about their lives; we heard stories of running wild round Bredon Hill, lending cushions to Prince Charles and love across a crowded dance floor. This is always a very entertaining and interesting evening and is a lovely opportunity to learn a little more about our members. This was followed by a slideshow presentation of what Eckington WI had been up to in 2017; if you have read our reports or visited our website and Facebook page, you’ll know what a busy time we had!

Activities for January will include our Coffee Morning at The Bell, lunch club also at the Bell and our Witch night at the end of January when we will be quilling. Our next meeting will be February 7, 7.30pm at Eckington Village Hall when Darren Hughes will be talking about his time in publishing. Visitors welcome £4.
