OUR February meeting was a very interesting evening when Lynn Stevens from Wychavon District Council enlightened us on her role in charge of Parks and Open Spaces. What an interesting and diverse job she has, and as we are all aware the beautiful parks in Evesham, Pershore and Droitwich are the result of Lynn and her team's hard work and justly deserve their Green Flag status. This month it is our Spring Show, and we encourage all our members to raid their gardens for the floral classes, and bakers to practise their skills for the final class, which is understandably the favourite for our judges, Tiny Hadley and Colin Hill, club president and chairman respectively.
