THREE Cotswolds residents will be celebrating today as their efforts are recognised in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours list.
Professor Diana Woodhouse, former Pro vice-Chancellor Research at Oxford Brookes University, of Chipping Norton, has been awarded an OBE for services to Legal Scholarship and Higher Education.
Also from the village of Chipping Norton is Malcolm Ralph Cochrane who has received an MBE for services to the community in Shipton-under-Wychwood.
An MBE also went to Eileen Mary Viviani, of Moreton, for Grade C1, Ministry of Defence.
