HOUSEHOLDS in the Cotswolds will have a change in their waste collection around Christmas.
Residents who are scheduled to receive a part collection of food and - if subscribed to the service - garden waste on Monday, December 26, they will instead receive it on Saturday, December 31.
The areas affected are Blockley, Farmcote, Bourton on the Hill, Guiting Power, Broadwell, Kineton, Condicote, Longborough, Donnington, Moreton, Dorn, Seizencote, Evenlode, Stow, Ford, Temple Guiting, Cutsdean and Maugesbury.
As in previous years, Cotswold District Council will be operating a side waste amnesty for every household’s first full collection after Christmas Day. Residents will be able to leave out additional amounts of non-recyclable waste in bin liners next to their grey wheeled bin beige refuse bags for collection.
For more information contact the Council’s Waste Hotline on 01285 623123.
