POLICE investigating the theft of an estimated £13,000 worth of jewellery from a Winchcombe shop have issued efits of the men who committed the crime.

As reported in the Journal, the two men walked into Fifty-o-Fifty, a vintage jewellery and clothes shop in North Street, just before 3pm on Tuesday, November 23, before rifling through suitcases full of jewellery and stealing a number of items .They then walked out of the shop towards Gretton.

The stress of the theft caused shop owner Suzanne Rafferty, who was not in the shop at the time, to suffer an asthma attack on her return shortly afterwards.

She had to have on-the-spot life-saving treatment before being rushed to hospital by ambulance. She was later given the all-clear and allowed to return home.

"I couldn’t get my Ventolin and I keeled over and my heart stopped. My assistant saved my life by giving me mouth-to-mouth resuscitation," said Mrs Rafferty.

Both of the men , who Mrs Rafferty’s assistant described as Eastern European, are about 5ft 5in tall and of slim build. One is thought to be in his 30s and was wearing a light brown jacket. He had dark medium length hair which was brushed back. The second man appeared to be in his 40s.
