A motorist seriously injured a woman by careless driving in a tourist hotspot.
John Andrew, aged 61, was driving a black Renault Clio in Oak Street, Lechlade when the incident happened on October 22 in 2024.
Andrew peaded guilty to a charge of causing serious injury by careless or inconsiderate driving when he appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on August 20.
According to the court register, a woman suffered a serious injury as a result of Andrew driving without due care and attention.
Following the hearing, Andrew was given an interim driving disqualification and released on unconditional bail while a pre-sentence report is prepared before sentencing.
Andrew, of Blanchard Road, Swindon, is due to return to Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Monday, September 21 for sentencing.
