A Cotswolds theatre has been recognised for its community impact as a finalist in the inaugural Great British Theatres Awards.
The Theatre Chipping Norton has been shortlisted in the Great Community Connection category, which celebrates venues that foster strong, inclusive relationships with their communities.
Joshua McTaggart, CEO of Theatres Trust, said: "The Great British Theatres Awards finalists represent the greatest cultural spaces and inspiring people this country has to offer.
"Theatres Trust knew there was a need to celebrate these theatres and the people who keep them buzzing, but the number of nominations was truly overwhelming.
"The judges had an incredibly challenging time choosing the finalists, and I want to extend my congratulations to every one of them.
"I can’t wait to celebrate our Great British Theatres in style this November."
The Great Community Connection category highlights theatres that deliver programmes such as school meals, free ticket schemes, BSL cafés, and dementia-friendly activities.
The finalists 'have demonstrated impactful and genuine relationships with people who might otherwise feel excluded from cultural life'.
Other finalists in the category include Cast in Doncaster, Citizens Theatre in Glasgow, Derby Theatre, Eden Court in Inverness, Hoxton Hall in London, Polka Children's Theatre in London and Wolverhampton Grand.
The awards, part of Theatres Trust’s 50th anniversary celebrations, honour theatres and individuals making a significant impact on the UK's cultural landscape.
Nearly 200 theatres, cultural organisations and communities across the country were nominated.
The winners will be revealed at the inaugural ceremony at Central Hall Westminster on Monday, November 2.
