Thief from banned from most shops in Gloucestershire

The ban was imposed on Jordan Risby-Sheldrake, aged 25, after he admitted stealing £27.50 worth of chicken from the Co-op at the Burford Road Filling Station in Cirencester on November 11 last year.

Risby-Sheldrake, of Middle Mead, Preston, Cirencester, appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on May 28.

The case was adjourned for sentencing until June 26, with conditional bail granted until that date.

As part of the his bail conditions, Risby-Sheldrake must not enter any retail premises in the county of Gloucestershire, except for Waitrose in Cirencester or any pharmacy in Cirencester.

According to the court register, this restriction is in place 'to prevent offending'.

A pre-sentence report is being prepared ahead of his return to court.
