A major motorway stretch will be closed overnight on Sunday for maintenance.
The M50 westbound in Gloucestershire, from the M5 Junction 8 to the M50 Junction 2, will be shut from 9pm to 6am.
National Highways is returning to complete previously postponed work.
A fully signed diversion route will be in place during the closure.
Emergency services will have access if safe during emergencies.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time for overnight journeys in the area.
National Highways apologised for any inconvenience and said it would aim to complete the work as planned, though adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances could cause further changes.
The closure may have an impact on communities in the Forest of Dean and those travelling through Gloucester overnight.
National Highways acknowledged the frustrations of additional traffic due to various transport projects across the county.

While the work is undertaken by National Highways, the diversion route passing through Gloucester may lead to higher than usual levels of overnight traffic.
A spokesperson for Gloucester County Council said: "The fact that the closure is taking place overnight should help minimise the impact for most road users, and we are hopeful the work can be completed as planned."
The spokesperson also thanked residents, businesses, and motorists for their patience and understanding.
