A dream Cotswold home has turned into a £2.8 million cash win thanks to a lucky raffle ticket.
The 4,000 sq ft property in Stow-on-the-Wold, once owned by Clarkson’s Farm consultant Rachel Hawkins, was sold through The Raffle House, offering the winner a choice between the fully furnished home or a £2.8 million cash prize.
Winner Heather chose the money.
In a statement to The Raffle House, Heather said: "I’m gobsmacked.
"Is this real?
"Oh. My. God.
"I’m in so much shock.
"I’ve been subscribed since April and you’ve got to be in it to win it.
"And I never thought I’d actually win anything.
"But you have to be in it.
"It’s definitely a life-changing amount for me and my family – I’m a mum, with my husband and two children.
"It’s a life-changing amount of money for us, thank you."
Rachel Hawkins appeared on Amazon Prime Video’s Clarkson’s Farm alongside her aunt Sue, helping Jeremy Clarkson prepare The Farmer’s Dog pub for opening.
She became known to viewers after debating with Clarkson over whether to spend £40,000 on outdoor “jumbrellas."
Clarkson later admitted on Instagram that "Sue and Rachel had a point."
Features of the six-bedroom house include a bar area, eat-in kitchen, separate dining room, and family room with bi-fold doors leading to a stone terrace.
All bedrooms are en-suite, and additional rooms include a study, cellar, and a boot room with a bespoke dog bed.

Under the raffle terms, the winner would have received the home fully furnished, with stamp duty and legal fees covered.
Ticket options started at £10 for 100 entries, with higher-priced options offering more tickets.
Single entry tickets began at £15 for 20 tickets, up to £95 for 300 tickets.
A free postal entry was also available for account holders.
