A MORETON man has been sentenced for a series of driving offences and possessing cannabis.
Archie Leach, of Chastleton House, Windsor Road, Moreton in Marsh, has been sentenced for a string of driving offences and being caught with cannabis in Moreton.
Appearing at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on May 20, the 22-year-old pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to court bail at the allotted time, failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis, possession of class B controlled drug cannabis, driving otherwise in accordance with a licence, and use a motor vehicle without third-party insurance.
The 22-year-old committed the offences whilst driving a BMW 320D on Vanguard Way in Moreton.
He was sentenced to 90 hours of unpaid work and was disqualified from driving for 17 months.
A Gloucestershire Constabulary spokesperson said: "22-year-old Archie Leach of Chastleton House, Moreton in Marsh attended Cheltenham Magistrates on Wednesday 20th May 2026.
"He pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to court bail at the allotted time, failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis, possession of a class B controlled drug cannabis, driving otherwise in accordance with a licence, and use a motor vehicle without third party insurance.
"He was sentenced to 90 hours unpaid work, disqualified from driving for 17 months and ordered to pay court fees.
"North Cotswold's officers remain committed to proactively policing our communities and taking action against those involved in criminality and road-related offences."
