A section of the Cotswolds will feature on a BBC Four programme.

Tewkesbury becomes a focal point in an episode of Great British Railway Journeys aired on BBC Four.

The programme, hosted by Michael Portillo, is set to be broadcast on Thursday, from 7pm to 7.30pm.

In the show, Portillo explores the railway networks of Great Britain while referencing historical travel guides.

Starting in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, the 72-year-old travels to Eastnor Castle, located at the foot of the Malvern Hills, and then continues to other local spots including Coleford in the Forest of Dean, Slimbridge, and Bristol Temple Meads.

From there, he heads to Filton to investigate the centre of Britain's post-war aviation industry.
