In the show, Portillo explores the railway networks of Great Britain while referencing historical travel guides.
Starting in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, the 72-year-old travels to Eastnor Castle, located at the foot of the Malvern Hills, and then continues to other local spots including Coleford in the Forest of Dean, Slimbridge, and Bristol Temple Meads.
From there, he heads to Filton to investigate the centre of Britain's post-war aviation industry.
