Amanda Holden and Alan Carr are reportedly pausing their popular TV home makeover show for the moment.
Carr and Holden first teamed up on Amanda and Alan's Italian Job in 2023, following its success with Spanish and Greek editions.
However, ongoing work schedules and Carr’s commitment to Disney+ have stalled plans for further episodes, according to reports.
A TV insider told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: "Alan and Amanda were already talking about taking a break in making their renovation shows.
"Both their diaries are so busy and the series takes weeks to film.
"Even though they’ve also been talking about where they could film next.
"But recent events mean it’s going to be virtually impossible to resume the show anytime soon, particularly if the home renovation project on Disney+ is a success for Alan."
Carr is moving forward with Castle Man, a new series for Disney+ filmed in Scotland.
The show follows his long-held dream of living in a castle, inspired by his stay at The Traitors’ castle.
He said: "Some men, when they have a midlife crisis, buy a Lamborghini or grow a ponytail, but me? I want my very own castle.
"Since I was a boy in Northampton, I’ve always dreamt big, and have always been enchanted with the history and romance of a stately home and as I turn 50, I feel it’s my time.
"All I want is a turret to call my own – get me over that drawbridge."
A synopsis for the series reads: "With Alan’s 50th birthday fast approaching, he finds himself at a moment of reckoning, taking stock of where he is and where he wants to be.
"He has long dreamed of owning a grand château, but after a transformative and iconic stay at The Traitors' castle, that fantasy will now become a reality – or will it?
"He doesn’t just want to visit a castle, he wants to build a life in one, a leap of faith driven entirely by Alan himself."
The Disney+ project is understood to include a competition clause that prevents Carr from working on similar concepts with other networks during its run.
This is believed to be the key reason behind the pause of his joint series with Holden.

In addition to Castle Man, Carr has a separate series in development with Prime Video.
He is also set to reunite with Holden for an as-yet-unannounced Netflix project.
The pause comes at a time when both presenters have full diaries and multiple other filming commitments.
