Father Brown actors have opened up on the 'beautiful' filming locations in the Cotswolds.
Williams, who stars as the crime-solving clergyman in BBC One’s Father Brown, spoke about filming for the 13th series, which returned to screens in January.
The series is set in the fictional Cotswolds village of Kembleford, but many scenes are shot in and around Gloucestershire.
Williams said: "This year on Father Brown has been an absolute pleasure; we filmed in a remarkable National Trust-owned pub, The Fleece Inn, we filmed in a disused convent with a chapel built designed by Ninian Comper which is a jewel, we were in the best Baroque church in the UK at Great Witley, and also at a real prison."
The Church of St Peter and St Paul in Blockley stands in for Father Brown’s parish church.
Williams said: "I get very excited about filming in remarkable buildings because it sets the scene so very well."

Ruby May-Martinwood, who plays Brenda, also spoke about the "gorgeous" filming locations in series 13.
"We filmed a Yoga episode this year which I really enjoyed, it was in a beautiful location like most of the Cotswolds, we’re very lucky to be filming in such a gorgeous place in the country," she said.
Season 13 also marks the return of Sorcha Cusack as Mrs McCarthy, following a four-year absence from the show.
