A drug driver was caught on the A419 near Swindon after behaving erratically on the busy road.
Andrew Hester, 40, was arrested in the early morning of September 4, after officers suspected he had been taking drugs after witnessing his driving.
After carrying out a roadside drugs wipe test, it was found that Hester, of Bowly Crescent, Siddington, near Cirencester, tested positive for cocaine.
He was arrested at Fairford and charged with drug driving and no insurance.
Hester pleaded guilty in Swindon Magistrates Court yesterday (January 8), where he was given a 20-month driving disqualification.
Hester also received a 100-hour community order, and must pay £114 surcharge, and £85 costs.
