Jeremy Clarkson has blasted Huw Edwards amid a potential comeback for the former BBC newsreader.
Edwards was arrested back in November 2023 after he was investigated over making indecent images of children, and later pleaded guilty to three charges.
These related to 41 illegal images and video clips which were found within WhatsApp chats with Alex Williams, a convicted sex offender, and saw him receive a two-year suspended sentence.
The disgraced former newsreader quietly updated his Facebook profile picture with a professional headshot, with many suggesting he is aiming for a comeback.

Now writing in his latest column for The Sun, Mr Clarkson suggested there will be no way back for Edwards as paedophilia is "the worst" crime.
The 65-year-old said: "It’s all very well saying that he could launch some kind of YouTube show on his own, but who’d watch it? Again, the answer is ‘no one’.
"The simple fact of the matter is this: you can come back if you have been done for murder or fraud, or GBH.

"But in these modern times, there are five crimes you can’t come back from."
Mr Clarkson then listed these as being racist, homophobic, denying that climate change exists and admitting you "quite like" some of what Donald Trump is doing.
He then concluded: "The worst crime of them all is paedophilia. Even the wokists haven’t yet dreamed up a crime that’s worse than that."
