A palace is set to open its rooftops to the public for the first time.
From May 24, Blenheim Palace will allow visitors to ascend their rooftops to witness views of the Grand Bridge and Great Court.
The 'Rooftop View' will be open daily from 10.30am to 4.30pm, included as part of the Palace & Gardens ticket or Annual Pass free of charge.
This immersive experience is free-flow, allowing visitors to explore at their own pace, with a recommended dwell time of about 30 minutes.
Stair access is the primary route to the Rooftop View, and visitors are urged to adhere strictly to full safety guidelines.
The specially designed viewing platform presents a new vantage point above the UNESCO World Heritage Site, never before seen in its 75-year history.
This will, however, only be available for a limited period due to the launch of their ambitious restoration project.
Heather Carter, managing director of Blenheim Palace, said: "It’s time to climb and have your cameras at the ready, as this truly historic moment for Blenheim Palace serves as a chance for everyone to see it from a whole new perspective.
"The restoration project is not just about preserving our past; it's about creating new ways for visitors to engage with our history now and well into the future."
