THEATRE-GOERS can enjoy a performance walk in the Oxfordshire countryside.

Staged at FarmED near Chipping Norton, As I Was A Walking will feature readings and performances with works by Michael Morpurgo and Flora Thompson.

The event, which includes traditional rural activities, Morris tunes, and nature-inspired songs, is returning following a sell-out last year.

The performance will take place on Friday, May 17.

Tickets for the 11am and 12pm performances are sold out, but a range of other times throughout the afternoon still have tickets available.

The event is priced at £20.
