PLANNED roadworks will close the M5 through Worcestershire.
The M5, northbound, junction 8 entry and exit will be closed tonight (Friday) as National Highways plans to carry out roadworks.
The team has also planned roadworks southbound on the M5, between junction 7 and junction 11.
A spokesperson for National Highways said the closure is for "improvement works".
A spokesperson for One Network said: "Carriageway, slip road, lane closures, with 24/7 narrow lanes, lane closure, and 50mph speed limit due to improvement works.
"Diversion via National Highways and local authority network."
