The Tree nightclub and Anytime Fitness building has been closed and cordoned off to members of the public.

On Thursday morning, red tape surrounded the area and blue and grey sheets covered sections of the roof, which is where the fire spread.

This follows dramatic scenes where dozens of firefighters battled a blaze in the Hoopers Place building's roof on Wednesday evening - the second fire to start in the building that day.

Our reporter was at the scene providing live coverage of their efforts to get the flames under control.

And now a member of the public has provided more pictures of the large emergency response as it unfolded.

Approximately 50 firefighters fought the flames after 10 fire engines from central Swindon, Westlea, Stratton, Royal Wootton Bassett, Marlborough, Chippenham, and Devizes responded to calls at 7.16pm on Wednesday evening.

The fire was extinguished by 9.05pm and the incident was then scaled down to involve four fire engines and 20 firefighters, who left the scene by 12.27am on Thursday morning.

A fire investigation is now underway.
