WEST Mercia Police have said that ‘enquiries are ongoing’ after reports of a man assaulting a woman in Oswestry on Thursday.
According to local residents, two police vans and two police cars were called to the Castlefields area at around 10am.
Eye-witnesses told The Advertizer that the incident took place around the Albert Road, Lorne Street, Prince Street and Castefields.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police: “We received a call around 10am on Thursday, April 25 with a report of a man assaulting a woman.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
