POLICE have cordoned off an area of woodland in Stourbridge.
Officers were on Birmingham Street tonight (Tuesday March 26), off the ring road, at around 6.30pm.
There were two police cars and police tape around a small area of trees, which the River Stour passes through.
The cordon goes along the length of the tree line up to the entrance of the council's long-stay car park.
West Midlands Police have been contacted for comment.
UPDATE: Police have confirmed a man, believed to be in his 40s, was found collapsed and was sadly declared dead at the scene.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and has been referred to the coroner.
