LEE PORTNALL, 59, of Robin Gibb road, Thame, pleaded guilty to drink driving. On September 25 at Lewknor, Oxfordshire, Portnall drove a Suzuki motor vehicle on the M40 whereupon he consumed so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breathe was 68 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Portnall received a community order and was told to comply with the any instructions of the responsible officer to attend rehabilitation activity appointments. An obligatory disqualification period of five years was handed down.

KEON BERRY, 24, of Hailey Road, Witney, pleaded guilty to drug driving. Berry drove a Yamaha Motorcycle in Witney on April 23 2023 on Duckington Lane and Tower Hill, when the proportion of a controlled drug, Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in the bloodstream exceeded the limit at not less than 5.5 micrograms per litre. A fine of £480 was handed down as well as a disqualification period of 14 months.

TYLER BOND, 18, or Carterton, pleaded guilty to nuisance and disorder after remaining on and entering premises in contravention of a closure order. On October 16 in Carterton, Bond remained on a premises, namely 33 Sycamore Drive, without a reasonable excuse, in contravention of a closure order issued by Oxford Magistrates Court on August 18 2023. Bond was given a community order and excluded from entering the premises for a period of two months.

MICHAEL PARSONS, 35, of Beckett Street, Oxford, was sentenced for assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely, a police officer. On November 22 2022, Parsons assaulted PC Pullin by beating her. He was imprisoned for 20 weeks due to a ‘flagrant disregard for people and their property’. He was also handed a sentence of three weeks imprisonment for failing to surrender to police/court bail at the time and will serve his sentences concurrently.

BRUCE CAMPBELL, 48, of Towpath Way, Croydon, pleaded guilty to drug driving. On December 25 at Wheatley in Oxfordshire, he drove a Mini Cooper on the M40 northbound where 6.8 micrograms of a controlled drug, namely Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), was found per litre of his blood. Campbell was disqualified for 36 months and fined £100.

TRACY MACKINNON, 34, of Bellenger Way, Kidlington, pleaded not guilty to assault by beating but was found guilty and ordered to pay a £250 fine. Mackinnon assaulted Siama Begum by beating her on March 22 2023 at the A40 Northern bypass.

MANNY SAIDI, 30, of Stone Meadow, Oxford, pleaded guilty to drunk driving. Saidi had driven a Vauxhall Corsa on Banbury Road in Oxford after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath, namely 142 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit. Saidi was handed a community order and told to comply with any instructions of the responsible officer to attend rehabilitation appointments as well as a disqualification period of 48 weeks.
