THE BEST pumpkin patches to visit with family and friends this autumn across Gloucestershire have been rated.

October is here, which means the leaves are changing colour, the air is crisper, and pumpkin picking is now a weekend activity must.  
 
Whether you’re going to be painting your pumpkins, carving them, or baking them into a sweet treat, researchers at Manor Cottages have discovered the best pumpkin patches across the county.  

A new study has analysed the reviews of pumpkin patches around Gloucestershire to reveal the most popular ones to visit.

The pumpkin patches in the area were scored by their average Google rating, number of Google reviews, average TripAdvisor rating  
 and number of TripAdvisor reviews.

Each pumpkin patch was given a maximum score of 2.5 for each category, with a maximum overall score of 10 available. 

Adam Henson's beloved Cotswolds Farm Park claimed top spot, scoring an impressive 8.3.

With a wide variety of pumpkins to choose from, available in all shapes, sizes, and colours, visitors will have an easy task picking the perfect pumpkin for their needs. 

Tickets also include entry to the popular Maize Maze. 

Second on the list was Cattle Country Pumpkin Patch in Berkeley which scored 7.8 and will be open from Saturday, October 7.

There are thousands of home-grown pumpkins and gourds to choose from at this venue.

Tickets include entry to the patch and a whole day at the farm for families to enjoy. 

There are also photo booths for the ultimate autumnal family photo.
