JAMIE Clarke got his first taste of action at the inaugural World Deaf Football Championships when he made his England debut against hosts Greece.
However, it turned out to be a chastening experience for the youngster from Bretforton as, despite finding the net, England lost the match 4-3 and also had three players red-carded by the Greek referee!
The 18-year-old sat out his country's opening clash with Germany that resulted in a 3-0 defeat - a result that prompted his inclusion for the next match.
Malaysia's withdrawal, though, meant that the Greece defeat ended England's interest in the competition in Patras but that won't take anything away from the youngster's delight at scoring on his England bow.
