Chipping Norton welcomed nearly 70 authors as the town celebrated its 10th literary festival, ChipLitFest.
Several events sold out to see well-known names such as Countryfile’s Adam Henson, radio journalist Ed Stourton, columnist Marina Hyde, popular crime writer Clare Mackintosh, TV historian Greg Jenner and art expert Will Gompertz.
Budding writers dipped into a range of writing workshops and kids from the ages of three to nine-plus took part with drawing, storytelling and action stories.

Fiction and a mass of memoirs covered a range of topics from nature, gardening and cooking to medicine, mental health, politics, art, and history.
Some 53 public events and 16 school events were held and over 3,000 tickets were sold.
Festival director Jenny Dee said: “We’ve had such warm feedback from authors and audience alike.
"It's fantastic that ridiculously small group of volunteers can pull off such an extraordinary event, bringing people from all over the country to Chipping Norton.”
