Youngsters were seen fleeing the scene of an arson attack in Moreton.
Gloucestershire Constabulary has condemned the behaviour of four people who had started a fire in Queen Victoria Gardens.
Police officers were called to the park shortly before midnight on Saturday, February 18.
PC Nick Westmacott said: “Police managed to put out a camp fire made by three young males and a female seen leaving the scene by a witness before police attended.
“No damage has occurred.
“This type of anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.”
Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue were also called to the scene.
A crew from Moreton Station attended but were not needed.
A GFRS spokesperson said: “We were called at 12.40am on Sunday February 19 to a rubbish fire at Queen Victoria Gardens in Moreton-in-Marsh.
“One engine from Moreton-in-Marsh was sent to the scene but the fire had been extinguished by the time they arrived.
“The stop message was received at 1.02am.”
