The latest addition to Bourton’s high street enjoyed a successful launch.

Cornish clothing brand Seasalt opened its new Cotswold store earlier this month.

Located at the Old Police Station, the 132 square metre shop has created 10 jobs for the village.

Seasalt’s director of retail, Richie Edwards, said: “We’re delighted to unveil our newest store in the beautiful village of Bourton-on-the-Water.

“This is our second Seasalt shop in the Cotswolds area and we’re very happy to be returning.

“It’s a wonderful location with stunning architecture and a wealth of idyllic attractions.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone through our doors.”

Opening for the first time on Saturday, October 1, the store is the brand’s second in the Cotswolds area, following the success of its first in Cirencester, which opened in 2015.

During the launch event, visitors were welcomed with plenty of treats and entertainment to celebrate the opening.

Gift bags were available for the first 20 people in the queue, while live music from Brimstone connected customers to Seasalt’s Celtic roots.
