A national clothing brand is opening a new store in the Cotswolds this weekend.
The latest addition to Bourton High Street’s array of shops opens this Saturday, with the introduction of Seasalt.
The Cornish clothing brand, which has almost 70 branches UK-wide, will take over the Old Police Station, with the doors swinging open for the first time at 10am on Saturday, October 1.
Seasalt’s director of retail, Richie Edwards, said: “We’re delighted to unveil our newest store in the beautiful village of Bourton-on-the-Water.
“This is our second Seasalt shop in the Cotswolds area (after Cirencester) and we’re very happy to be returning.
“It’s a wonderful location with stunning architecture and a wealth of idyllic attractions.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone through our doors.”
The new store occupies a 132 square metre space and will feature furniture and fittings using sustainable, UK-sourced materials.
The first 20 people through the door on Saturday will receive gift bags while live music from folk band Brimstone is sure to create the perfect atmosphere.
Bourton’s new store comes following the success of Seasalt’s first Cotswold store, in Cirencester, which opened in 2015 and will create ten jobs for the village.
