THE midweek run took a meandering route out thr-ough the Vale in the direction of Stratford.

Eight members visited Badsey, Bretforton, Lower Quinton, Crimscote and Pres- ton-on Stour before the coffee stop.

They returned via a more direct route through Wel-ford and Pebworth to cover a creditable 43 miles.

Sunday saw Norman Smith lead a combined A and B run of 22 Wheelers to Wootton Wawen.

The peleton left Evesham via Norton and Salford Priors then through Dunnington the Graftons, Aston Cantlow and the Alnes ahead of a well-earned rest at Wootton Wawen.

The return journey was made in sunshine through he Alnes, Haselor, Bidford, Cleeve Prior, The Littletons and Badsey covering 52 glorious miles.

Four members rode the Little Mountains Time Trial when 39 hard miles included the climbs of Stanford bank and Ankerdine Hill.

Phil Parsons posted an impressive one hour 51 minutes and five seconds with wife Michelle first lady in 1.58.00. Steve Goodbier clocked a personal best 1.53.56, while Andrew Bailey recorded 1.59.29.

This weekend's weekly run leaves the High Street at 9.15am and all are welcome.
