A MAN who stalked a woman in Moreton has been found guilty.

Eamonn Keane, 57, was convicted after commenting on the victim’s Instagram in December 2020 before visiting her home and leaving her Christmas presents.

Keane, of Union Road in Solihull, pleaded guilty on July 28 at Birmingham Magistrates' Court.

He was subsequently ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.

He must also complete up to 50 days of rehabilitation activity by July 26, 2024.

Additionally, keane must pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £95 and costs of £300 to the Crown Prosecution Service by August 25 of this year.

During the same court session, Keane also pleaded not guilty to causing a man in Moreton harassment, alarm or distress by way of threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour on December 14, 2020.

However, he was found guilty and handed a restraining order, which will remain in place until July 28, 2024.
