Evesham and District Crib League
THE league welcomes all players to the Evesham Hospital Social Club on Monday at 8.15pm for the Iris Davis Memorial Crib Drive with the proceeds going to the Friends of Evesham Hospital.
The entry fee per pair is £2 and a raffle - for which a prize donation would be helpful - will be held.
The finals of the Knockout and Consolation Cups were staged at Bidford RBL and the Wheatsheaf Inn at Badsey respectively.
The winners of the former competition were Talbot Inn C, who managed to win without having to play a doubles game all evening, in overcoming the Wheatsheaf 5-1.
The winners of the Consolation Cup were Angel Vaults B who defeated Coach and Horses 6-3.
Thanks are due to both venues and especially to Ken Holder for managing the competition at the Wheatsheaf.
