Police are hunting for a van connected to an attempted theft from a Cotswold pub.
Gloucestershire Constabulary has launched an appeal for witnesses following the incident at The Royal Oak in Andoversford.
A force spokesperson said that a man was seen acting "suspiciously" at around 2:25am on Wednesday, July 20.
When challenged, the man said he was there to collect cooking oil before running to a white Transit van which was waiting for him in the car park.
The van then drove off but was captured on CCTV.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, recognises the van, or saw anyone in a white Transit van acting suspiciously in the area around the time is urged to contact the police.
