Police in an area of Oxfordshire have had a 'busy' shift, with 10 people arrested.

Thames Valley Police officers in West Oxfordshire arrested suspects for incidents relating to threatening victims with a knife, seizure of firearms, robbery and burglary with intent to cause GBH.

TVP West Oxfordshire listed incidents on social media:

 

  • One arrested in Witney Town Centre for possession of bladed article, affray, assault – the male had threatened victims with the knife; it was located and seized on arrest
  • One arrested for domestic abuse-related burglary and threats to kill
  • Seized a large amount of cannabis and some firearms, including a grenade, following the arrest of an individual for possession with intent to supply
  • Three individuals arrested for assault and possession of an offensive weapon
  • One male arrested for robbery, attempted robbery and possession of an offensive weapon
  • One arrested for assaults, criminal damage and public order
  • One arrested for domestic abuse-related criminal damage and public order
  • One arrested for being drunk in charge of a vehicle
  • One arrested for being drunk and disorderly
  • One arrested for burglary with intent to cause GBH, assault ABH and common assault
