Police have relaunched an appeal for witnesses to a serious crash in the Cotswolds.

Officers were called to the A40 London Road in Northleach on Saturday, May 28, after reports of a crash near Bedwell Farm.

The collision involved two cars, a blue Peugeot and silver BMW, and occurred at around 8:30am.

A man, woman, and child from the Peugeot were taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with suspected serious injuries.

The woman remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition, while the man and child were discharged after being assessed.

The driver of the BMW was arrested at the scene and taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital to be assessed.

He was later released under investigation pending further enquiries.

Police are particularly keen to speak with the driver of a light-coloured transit style van.

It is believed the driver may have seen what happened.

Police would also like to hear from anyone who travelled along the route and has dashcam footage, particularly between the Northleach and Burford roundabouts.

Additionally they would like to hear from anyone who saw the silver BMW prior to the collision.
