A MAN from Enstone has driven to Ukraine to supply medical supplies and other essentials.
Tim Henry, of Chipping Norton, drove his white Landrover to near the front line beyond Kharviv to deliver the donations.
Customers of The Crown Inn pub in Mill Lane, as well as other residents further afield, donated the supplies for Mr Henry.
He said a message was sent back from the Ukrainian solders to the Enstone community saying, “Thank you”.
Mr Henry plans to make another trip and the pub has offered to collect on Mr Henry’s behalf. He hopes for it be his “final and biggest trip”.
For more information, or to donate, contact the pub on 01608 677262 or leave money in the collection pot inside the pub.
