
ARMED police descended on a town street this weekend after reports of a man with a gun.
Officers were called over reports of a man with a firearm in Railway Crescent, Shipston on May 14.
With armed officers making checks, they located the man and were able to confirm there was no firearm and that no offence was committed.
A spokesperson said: "Armed officers were deployed to Railway Crescent in Shipston this morning after receiving a report of a man with a firearm.
"After carrying out checks at a property and speaking to the man no firearm was discovered and they were satisfied no offences had been committed."
